映画 ロミオ&ジュリエット

　14日夜、雪かきなどの疲れもあったので、早めに床につく。　そのため、15日未明に目が覚めた。
　ちょうど、フィギアのＦｒｅｅの最後の組が始まる時間。ついテレビを見てしまった。そして、羽生選手が滑り始めた、最初の4回転サルコーを失敗、そして、3回転ジャンプのミス。
『ああ金メダルはないな』と思った。当の羽生選手もそう思ったらしいが、2位に落ちるのを見たくなく、またベッドに戻った。
　朝、優勝を知ったとき、見てればよかったと反省したが、チャン選手の失敗が驚きであった。
　ひとしきり反省した後、羽生選手が滑る時の曲を思い出した。
　夜中のテレビ、羽生選手が滑り始めた時に流れた曲に、つい『ファットイズユース』とつぶやいてしまった曲。映画『ロミオ＆ジュリエット』。小生が若き日に見た映画。その歌詞を載せます。
